City Map

This is a shot of the city map taken as of this page's edit date, however, please note that the latest version can ALWAYS be found on the "About" page of Orange Star's City Tegaki E, also there for handy quick reference.

As the game progresses, landmarks may be added or deleted, and information may be changed, depending on gameplay.

**************************************

Orange City is primarily designated into 9 sectors, each with it's own adventures and surprises. Don't be afraid to look around, to explore the city and find your own landmarks of your own!

The 9 Sectors of Orange Star City: An Overview

Downtown

The Heart of Orange City. Shopping, entertainment, tourism, you name it- they got it. All types and walks of life are here- some good- some bad. The city tries to keep this place as crime free as possible because of its tourism aspect, but they can't be 100% successful, right?

1) North Lake Shopping Center: A large shopping center- connects to a monorail to the TV Tower as well as the city's center most (bus+subway) hub.

2) North Lake Square: An open area square, also more shopping to be found in the buildings surrounding.

3) The Works: Arcade by day, the upstairs hosts a techno/rave/cyberpunk based club at night and for special events.

4) The Davenport Star Hotel: Orange City's finest hotel.

NorthTown

Downtown has the "heart", but NorthTown certainly has the "pride" of Orange City- the TV/Radio Tower, known well throughout the nation. People who live here are mostly hard working people who may not be the best off, but they are proud of their city and what it is.

1) OSTV TV/Radio Tower and Center: The most prominent icon of Orange City, representing technology, the future, innovation, and broadcasts information to all the citizens when they need it, whenever they need it. Also has an observation tower floor,a high class restaurant, "Top of the Tower", as well as an amusement park/entertainment center/food court surrounding the tower.

2) Orange City Park: A large park, beautiful, with green grass, a Japanese Garden, among other things. Nice in the day, but at night it is common knowledge that it does get a little dangerous here.

The North W

Obviously referring to it's Northwestern location in Orange Star, this area is a fairly suburban and spread out district, and holds Orange Star's primary transportation hubs. Those who like space, and can live with the sounds of close by airplanes may like here.

1) Orange City Central Bus Station : Is a hub for the city's bus transportation, as well as any out of city buses.

2) Kamiya Takayama Intl. Airport: Serving domestic and international flights to and from Orange City.

3) Orange City Central Train Station:  A stop for the city's subway, as well as the train station for any out of city lines.

Reddall

Another fairly spread out district, most of the area in this area is owned by the city for purposes of preservation/conservation.

1) Reddall Park/Forest: A natural conservation area, there is lush evergreen forests, hiking, camping, a coastline, and beautiful scenery here.

2) Orange City Speedway and Raceway: Racing of various types can be found here...the car races are loud and full of rednecks, and the horse and dog races can be found full of the sleezy crowd, the unfortunate crowd wanting to make a quick buck off of something.

West Town

The technological center of Orange City, many fine innovations are born here. Both White-collar and Blue-collar workers can be found here, but with the middle and lower classes come various crime problems that have been hard to rectify in this part of town.

1)  West Orange Technological/ Industrial Park: Many companies have their regional headquarters in this large area, both civilian and military based.

East Town

This part of town has the waterfront to the city's sound + a larger body of water, and many blue collar workers make their home in this district. Crime is also known to be a problem in this part of the city, but the city is beginning to crack down due to the concern about the safety of shipments at the docks.

1) The Docks: The main port for Orange City, all of the city's cargo and shipments are managed here by hard workers day and night. Also, various other piers in this part of town will have shopping, seafood, and other various attractions that come with waterfronts.

2)  The Island: A manmade island hosting a small, boardwalk type amusement park. Bright neon light nights popular for friends, couples are always found here, but be careful of the hooligans that may be found here...

University District (U-District)

Also known as "The Triad", for the 3 higher education schools in this one part of town alone. Many college aged students/young adults find this part of town to be classy, hip, and will make their home here.

1) Orange City University: also known as "The U".

2) Morrison Technology Institute: Also known as "M-T" or "the Mitt".

3) Rogers Institute of Art: mostly known as just "Rogers".

South Town

Many of the city's international immigrants will find this area of town to be best suited to them, holding a large area which immigrants have made their shops and restaurants. Also popular for the sporting centers which are in this part of town.

1) International District: Shopping, international themed stores, shopping, and food is easily found here.

2) Barton Field: Is the main arena for football and general arena events. In particular interest to tourists is the martial arts tournaments that are held here every year.

3) Star Field:  The city's baseball field.

The Flats

This area is primarily home to many of the men and women who serve in our nation's military, both on the main base and in the suburban houses surrounding the base.

1) McNeill RFB: The regional base. for the country's main military force, the "Rebel Forces". Civilians can access the base (with proper ID and credentials), but like any military base, there are areas that are restricted and only available to military personnel, and is full of heavily guarded secrets only certain death may or may not unlock..
