Barton Family

The Barton Family is a specific family, long rooted in the history of both Orange Star City, and the entire history of the current world as we know it. Some historians might attribute their contributions to be responsible for the formation of our current government as we know it.

General Overview

There are many who have the bloodline of the Barton family today, and not all of them can be accurately traced. Very few today actually have the actual surname "Barton"- many others do not and have other surnames.

The Barton family was a key force during the Great War nearly a thousand years ago. This Great War was between a corrupt government, and rebel militias, or "Rebel Forces" which successfully defeated the corrupt leaders and armies in a huge battle in the former city of London on the Northern Continent. The men involved in this battle that had the Barton bloodline were the following:

Matthew and Keegan Barton

Skii Barton

Phoenix Talon (Barton)

Tobias Barton

Matthew and Keegan Barton

Matthew and Keegan Barton are the oldest documented members of the Barton bloodline- most currently known members of this bloodline can trace their heritage to one or the other of these brothers.

Not much is documented about their early history. They were born in some part of the United States, and early in life, were forced to live life apart as their parents were killed by some unknown accident that occurred in their small suburban town. The brothers were separated for an unknown length of time, possibly until their early to late teens, each learning their own way of doing things.

Keegan Barton

Keegan Barton was known primarily for his military genius. He was personally trained by Alexander McNeill, as well as many other military tactics based upon years of service for both the PMC Rebel forces as well as several other PMC or mercenary armies or groups. He was a brilliant fighter who was known to never have given up no matter the odds, and would sacrifice even his own strength and extreme physical injuries to protect his fellow men on the battle field. It is speculated by historians, based upon his reputation, the accounts of those who knew him,and his descendants, that he was the main leader of the offensive in the battle in London.

He had two children:

-Skii Barton. Skii,  along with his cousin Tobias Barton, would rebuild not only London, but the world from the ground up through diplomatic matters. He never quite shared his father's view on the world and "the fight", primarily because he was not trained in battle by his father, but rather, by his uncle Matthew Barton.

- Phoenix Talon (Barton): Half brother to Skii, not much is known about Phoenix. It is rumored he was either killed in battle or lived an average life following the final battle in London. He was also trained by Matthew Barton in military tactics- however, from what little of his tactics that we did know of, they were much more dangerous and erratic than those that Skii learned- why they are different is not known. Perhaps Matt learned new tactics and shed others which lead to a more hasty tactic or teaching style that was taught to Phoenix.

Following the Great War, Keegan Barton's whereabouts are unknown. He dissappeared shortly after the final battle, and no one knew (or was allowed to tell) of where he had gone off to. He did however, briefly help formulate, with the help of his relatives and those in power following the final battle, a plan that would form the basis of the current government.

More of the decendants known today claim bloodlines to Keegan Barton, why exactly, is unknown. Possible cause is that he is more known in history- textbooks in schools today will at least mention Keegan Barton's name in this period of time.

Matthew Barton

Less is known about Matthew, or Matt Barton, than his older brother Keegan, but it is also known that he was highly skilled and trained in military tactics. Supposedly he was taught by the other founder of the PMC "Rebel Forces", Ryusho Takayama.  Not much is known about what exactly he did during his lifetime aside from several years in the PMC, and the final battles of the rebellion forces in the Great War. He was a rather secretive man who preferred to keep his business, his history, and his family less open than that of his brother.

Matthew was a fierce fighter, depending on various tactics to force his way through battle. He was not one for tactics- based on accounts it seemed more that he preferred to muscle his way through battle based upon instinct, observation, and reactions.

He had three children:

Tobias Barton: The eldest. He served the corrupted government,  but later on, with persuasion from his father,  was a double agent who helped supply information to the rebellion forces . He, along with Skii Barton, helped form the basis for the new government which evolved into the government we know today.

Kei Barton: 2nd eldest. He was killed during a raid of Matthew's home by governmental forces prior to the start of the Great War.

Charlie Barton: The youngest son of Matthew. He was also killed during the raid on Matthew's home prior to the Great War.

He also disappeared shortly after the final battle in London- no one was able to say where he had gone off to- not even his own son or family members. Most textbooks fail to give much mention or credit to Matthew- probably because not much is known about him and his life, so many historians are not sure what his role in the battles of the Great War truely were aside from supporting his brother and rebel forces.

Likewise, not many will claim heritage to Matthew Barton or his children, and there are very, very few on Matthew's side that even have the name "Barton" for their surname.

Today, many of the Barton family are involved one way another in the military "Rebel Forces", or politics. They fought for our freedom, helped formulate our current government- so it is only proper that they have positions in our military or as political powers.
